It’s Always Teatime At Our Beach House

At our Beach House, we were enchanted by the beloved children’s classic Alice in Wonderland and thought it was the perfect inspiration for our signature Afternoon Tea offering.

Lewis Carroll’s timeless story of a little girl following a white rabbit into a strange land remains a part of popular culture and many of its themes and life lessons resonated with us. Knowing that many of our guests adore the story as much as we do, we wanted to share the beauty and eccentricity of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

And Voila – our signature ‘Mad Tea Party’ was born. Every Saturday starting from the 28th of November, we welcome you to revel in exquisite tea blends from the experts at Tea Time in Cayman and indulge in decadent cakes and other sweet creations at Anchor & Den.

To commemorate the unveiling of our highly anticipated Afternoon Tea offering and to celebrate Alice’s 150th birthday this year (how serendipitous!) we are sharing our favorite quotes from the magical world of Wonderland.

Follow the white rabbit to our Beach House – where it’s always teatime!

“It’s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.”

“Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”

“Who in the world am I? Ah, that’s the great puzzle.”

“If you don't know where you are going any road can take you there.”

“If everybody minded their own business, the world would go around a great deal faster than it does.”

“Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality.”

“It is better to be feared than loved.”

“But I don’t want to go among mad people."
"Oh, you can’t help that, we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?"
"You must be, or you wouldn’t have come here.”

“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
"I don't much care where –"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go.”

“How long is forever?”
“Sometimes, just one second.”

We invite you to take part in our Mad Tea Party, taking place every Saturday, 2:30pm–5:30pm. Reservations are required so please call us on (345) 949-0088 to book your table.
