LOOK UP TO LOOK WITHIN

We spend so much time looking down — whether that be when we are travelling from A to B or staring all day at a computer screen. It is so easy to become engrossed in what we are doing, physically and mentally, that we forget to take time for ourselves. It is not very often that we consciously look up. But all it takes is a few minutes out of your day to stare at the sky, watch the clouds, exhale and think about the present moment. It is during these moments of mindfulness that we can contemplate about what is meaningful to us.

At our Beach House, we hope to create a tranquil setting where you can spend your day admiring nature’s beauty — from the sparkling turquoise blue ocean to the palm trees gently swaying to the Caribbean breeze. We hope to offer an abundance of opportunities for you to look up and embrace the present.

Here are some quotes about nature’s beauty, we hope they inspire you to take a few minutes to look up and look within!

“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” — Albert Einstein
“Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.” ―John Muir
“Wildness reminds us what it means to be human, what we are connected to rather than what we are separate from.” — Terry Tempest Williams
“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts. There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature — the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter.” ― Rachel Carson
“I do believe in an everyday sort of magic — the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we’re alone.” ― Charles de Lint
“The wilderness holds answers to questions man has not yet learned to ask.” — Nancy Newhall
“Keep your faith in all beautiful things. In the sun when it is hidden. In the spring when it is gone.” — Roy Rolfe Gilson
“There is a way that nature speaks, that land speaks. Most of the time we are simply not patient enough, quiet enough, to pay attention to the story.” — Linda Hogan
“Whoever loves and understands a garden will find contentment within.” — Chinese proverb
