Poems of Abundance: Positivity Radiates
For Abundance 2019: A Year To Honour Your Fullest Self, we are paying homage to the truest versions of ourselves. We are all about the word ‘abundance’ at our Beach House. The true meaning of abundance goes beyond just simply having or acquiring more; it is bigger and more all-encompassing than that. Abundance is a feeling – it is something that is already there that just needs to be tapped in to. Abundance is gratitude and seeing the richness in every moment. Abundance is love. And more and more, people are realising that abundance is a choice.
We believe that one of the four paths to Abundance is our connection to positivity and when you live in a state of abundance your life will take on a whole new perspective. You will start to see opportunity where others see darkness, you will see beauty all around you and you will appreciate all that you have and all that is to come into your life.
For us, the way you view the world is the only thing we can really control in this life. And because of this, we choose positivity every time.
To celebrate these paths to Abundance, our Resident Poet (and a creative member of the Beach House team!) wrote a series of poems inspired by the four connections: Positivity, Vitality, Goodness and Balance, that we will be sharing with you throughout the year.
We love how poems describe the world around us in a simple but meaningful way, with the use of beautiful imagery and metaphor. We thought it was the perfect medium to talk about the themes of Abundance, in a way that resonates with us.
We hope they inspire you to live your life in Abundance!
Positivity radiates through every fiber of my being,
Collecting like sunshine on my fingertips.
Your energy permeates me like a familiar, old friend.
A story that has been told over a million lifetimes.
I soak in the feelings of abundance, stemming from gratitude and love.
I choose to stay grounded. I choose to follow my truth.
When at a crossroads, I embrace positivity every time.
What is the use of viewing this beautiful world through a negative lens?
It colours the truth, prevents us from seeking what is really there.
And what has been there all along.
