Secrets To Everyday Happy Living – Finding Tranquility

For Kinship 2018: A Year To Get Consciously Cozy, we are going back to the basics. We are creating magic in the ordinary. We are surrounding ourselves with comfort and coziness. We are committing to the present moment in its simplicity. We are taking pleasure in the small things in life and aspiring to make everyday tasks more dignified, joyful and beautiful. And this is a culture that we want to impart to our guests. We thought the word ‘kinship’ fits well with the theme because it represents community and one’s family, friends and loved ones – and that is exactly who we want to be share these special moments with.

We welcome you to experience our way of life and embrace our CaymanKind-inspired lifestyle. For the next few blog posts, we will be exploring what we feel are the Five Secrets to everyday happy living.

These Secrets have been inspired by what we believe are the five universal themes of our local kindness: Find Tranquility, Create Abundance, Treasure Togetherness, Embrace Comfort and Choose Kindness and Positivity.

For our First Secret, we are dedicating ourselves to finding tranquility. At our Beach House, we want our guests to relax and let go. We believe it is within these moments of peace that we can truly appreciate the simple pleasures in life. Activities that we offer to help guests find their inner calm include meditation sessions on the beach with our friends from Bliss Yoga Cayman and welcoming visitors of all ages to our cozy and intimate Reading Corner at our Turtle Lagoon and Patio.

In our pursuit for this Secret to Every Happy Living, we were captivated by the following quotes on tranquility. We hope they inspire you to take the time for yourself to discover the peace within.

“It is in that quiet place at our center that we hear the whispers of our soul.”

“Nothing can bring you peace but yourself.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

“May you find serenity and tranquility in a world you may not always understand.” – Sandra Sturtz

“You will never find peace of mind until you listen to your heart.” – George Michael

“You find peace not by rearranging the circumstances of your life, but by realizing who you are at the deepest level.” – Eckhart Tolle
